Lange Originals Quick Release Mirrors

Lange makes a couple of different Quick Release Mirrors.  First, there is the Mirror-A-Mirror I that is for the Wrangler Unlimited, Rubicon, YJ and TJ.  With this one you will have the ability to take the doors off of your Jeep and still be legal with a mirror.  Mirrors are not just regulated by the states, they are regulated by Federal law.  With this simple accessory, you will be able to solve your mirror problem.  This mirror is what is known as a quick release or quick mount mirror.  It actually cam locks right to the door hinges.  The Mirror-A-Mirror I has been hand machined as well as hand finished.  It has been constructed from aluminum that is aircraft grade as well as with stainless steel.  What that means to you is that it is incredibly resistant to corrosion.  This is a mirror that has been beautifully made and will be an asset to any Jeep.

Quick Mirror II

This is the other type of quick release or quick mount mirror that is made by Lange Originals.  It is beautifully crafted and is installed right on the side of your windshield frame in your Jeep Wrangler TJ, YJ or CJ and uses the mounting holes that are already there.  This mirror is incredibly easy to remove simply by twisting a knob.  Once the knob is twisted and the mirror has been removed, all that is left in its place is a small bracket to be used for mounting once the doors are replaced. 

This mirror has also been hand machined and then hand finished.  Like the other one, this one is also made from aluminum of an aircraft grade as well as from stainless steel which gives the mirror the best resistance from corrosion.  The arm bend for this mirror rotates which allows you to position the mirror at any position on the windshield.  It comes in a black finish and will add a bit of off road style to your Jeep. 

Since this mirror doesn’t mount on the door hinge, it can be used in conjunction with any aftermarket half door or soft door.  This mirror can be used on either the passenger side or the driver side of your Jeep but keep in mind that they are sold separately.  If you want to remain legal please purchase two.

 

 

Lange Originals Power Hoist Upgrade for Manual Hoist – A – Top

Why would someone want to get a power hoist upgrade when they have a manual Hoist – A – Top?  That is an incredibly easy question to answer.  Why would you want to stand there and crank away at the manual hoist when you can get the same job done in half the time and without having to do anything more energetic than pushing a button?

This upgrade is only for those who already have a manual Hoist – A – Top made by Lange Originals.  When you install this upgrade you will turn the process of removing the top and even storing it until you are ready to put it back on your Jeep, one that can be done by yourself with a simple touch of a button.  That means no more awkward cranking, no more having to get help to do any of these things. 

This upgrade will turn your hand powered crank system into one that is powered by electricity and that effectively takes all of the work out of the process for you.  This power upgrade has a construction that is rugged as well as a very powerful lifting device that is packed full of safety features.  The power option upgrade comes to you complete with a remote control, highly detailed instructions with several options for mounting, a bracket for mounting and a winch.  Please note that this must be used in conjunction with your existing manual Hoist – A – Top.

This power upgrade is for anyone who already has the manual Hoist – A – Top and is either tired of having to do all of the work yourself or for those who would simply prefer to spend the time it takes to remove and store the top with the manual one by being out on the trails.  With this upgrade, you will be able to quickly and easily convert your manual system into one that is powered by electricity.  This upgrade will increase the length of your cables and it makes the removal, storage and reinstallation of your hard top a breeze.  This upgrade is recommended for those garages that have a ceiling height of 3 – 36 feet.  It comes with a warranty that is good for a year.

This upgrade doesn’t have to be used solely with Jeeps though.  You can use it with any vehicle that has a removable hard top.

Installation can be completed in about 3 hours.  All you will need in order to complete the installation is a drill, a Phillips screwdriver, a measuring tape, an adjustable wrench and a pencil.
