The Kwick Kit is a removal system for the hardtop of your
Jeep and it is made by Lange Originals.
Included in this kit are a pair of quick release latches that are meant
for use on the frame of the windshield.
There are also eight 1 ¼ turn fasteners included that are patented and
will remove with ease. You will
permanently attach the nut part of these particular fasteners to the body of
the Jeep so that you will not need to search for them when you want to use the
Kwick Kit. In order to reinstall the top
of your Jeep, just twist the fasteners and they will hold the top in
place. The Kwick Kit comes with complete
and detailed instructions for both installation and use. Please note that for a safe and proper
installation, there is a bit of drilling required. You will also need a pop rivet tool in order
to install the Kwick Kit properly. The
TJ version of this kit also includes 4 latches for attaching to the rear of the
Jeep. These do not require
drilling. Also, this kit is not
compatible with Jeep bodies that are made from fiberglass.
