Hardtop Removal System by Lange Originals for Freedom Hardtops

Lange Originals is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and they are a family owned business.  This is a company that specializes in making and distributing all sorts of products for Jeeps and other vehicles.  They are Jeep enthusiasts themselves and have been trekking the Moab for over 3 decades.  This is all just to let you know that when it comes to Jeeps, they have the practical experience to know what Jeeps are capable of as well as what they need and they make an effort to provide Jeepers with those products.

One of the things that Jeepers struggle with is getting the hardtop off of and back onto their Jeeps.   For this reason, they have come up with what they call the Hoist – A – Top.  This is actually an entire line of products that make this task easier.

Manual Hoist – A – Top

This particular Hoist – A – Top is made for use with the Freedom tops.  It is something that is a necessity for anyone who owns a Jeep and wants to be able to remove or replace the Freedom top by themselves and with ease.  The construction of this hoist is quite rugged and the lifting device itself is extremely powerful and packed full of various safety features.  One of the awesome things about this particular hoist is that in order to use it you will not need to make any sort of modifications to your Jeep top. 

The hooks on this top have been coated with rubber and the hardware itself is coated with foam.  This is to ensure that the finish on your hardtop remains protected.  The design includes a steel cable that has a high tensile strength as opposed to hoists made by competitors who use ropes and pulleys.

The frame of this hoist is also incredibly strong.  It attaches quickly and with ease to the hardtop.  There is not a necessity for drilling, welding, cutting or any other sort of modifications to be made to the top of your Jeep.  The mechanism for pulling the cable is one that has been specially designed and it will lift your Freedom top off of the Jeep and then hoist it all the way to the ceiling and then I will store it there until you are ready to replace it back on the Jeep.  This is so easy to use that you can have the top off of your Jeep and be ready to hit the trials in under 3 minutes.  Better still is the fact that you will be able to get the top off and back on your Jeep all by yourself!
