Hardtop Removal System by Lange Originals for Freedom Hardtops

Kwick Kit II Jeep Hardtop Removal Kit by Lange Originals

With the Kwick Kit II Removal Kit for Jeep hardtops there will not be a need for searching for missing bolts, worrying about loose screws and wasting time.  You will be able to remove the hardtop from your Jeep with a simple flip of your fingers.  The Kwick Kit II comes to you with a pair of quick release latches that work sort of like the top release in a convertible.  These latches are for use on the frame of your windshield.  This is how the front part of your hardtop will be released.  You will also get 8 fasteners that are patented.  These are 1 ¼ turn fasteners and they will come of wit only your fingers being necessary – no tools.  This is how the back of the hardtop is released.  As far as these fasteners go, they each have a not that will be attached permanently to the body of your Jeep so that you will not need to waste any time or energy looking for them.  The bolts twist into and out of these nuts simply by using your fingers.  For the initial installation though there will need to be some drilling.  You will also need a rivet pop tool for proper installation.

Other things that are included in the Kwick Kit II are 8 nut plates and 8 rivets measuring 3/16” as well as 16 rivets measuring ½”.  You will get complete and detailed instruction for a safe and proper installation as well as instructions on using it to remove and replace the hardtop of your Jeep. 

Please note:

·         The Kwick Kit II for the Jeep Wrangler YJ and CJ do require a bit more drilling.  In addition, the CJ will also require bolts of a longer size so when you purchase the Kwick Kit II please keep the model of your Jeep in mind.

·         Wrangler TJ kits will have 4 latches for the rear of the Jeep and there is not any necessity for drilling for these.
